My name is Cristina Cañete and I currently teach Graphic Design at Harlingen High School. This course provides students with the knowledge, skills and technologies required for employment in graphic communications and multimedia careers. Students will successfully produce professional –
quality full-color documents on high-volume color printing formats, with a wide range of output devices
including desktop printers and high-resolution imaging devices.
I graduated from Texas State University with a major in Communications and Spanish. After graduation, I worked with KRGV channel 5 and KGBT channel 4 in the Sales and Marketing Department. I decided to pursue a career in teaching because it had been a goal of mine to help the community and help students pursue their passion. I enjoy assisting my students with relevant coursework and innovative ideas to better prepare them for the real world.
